Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable Skilled Laborer to join our construction team.

Essential Functions:
• Frequently use hands and talk/hear
• Ability to see color
• Frequently lift, bend, stoop, climb, and jump
• Continuous driving automotive equipment
• Being near machinery
• Changes in temperature
• Working regularly around dirt and dust
• Walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Reasoning, math, and language
• Occasional travel
Responsibilities:
•Performing a variety of skilled duties in the construction and maintenance of underground utilities
•Operating various tools and equipment to install, repair, and maintain underground utility systems
•Assisting in the excavation, backfill, and compaction of trenches
•Always ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations
•Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
•Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
•Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
•Minimum of 1 year of experience in underground utility construction
•Ability to operate various hand and power tools
•Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to underground utility work
•Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
•Reliable transportation to and from job sites
•Valid driver's license
•Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed
•Excellent communication skills
