Heavy Equipment Operator for Underground Utilities

Join Our Team as a Heavy Equipment Operator!

PSC Construction in Omaha, NE is seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our underground utilities division, you will play a crucial role in helping us complete projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and trenchers to dig trenches, install pipes, and backfill excavations.
  • Follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise and accurate work.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance to ensure safe and optimal operation.
  • Work closely with project managers, foremen, and other team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or underground utilities setting.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety.
